Bacteria devour chicken manure to produce feed protein

Improper handling of poultry manure can contaminate groundwater, and harmful nitrogen compounds in manure are difficult to remove by water purification devices. The distillers grains produced during beer making cannot be used directly as feed. In order to recycle these two types of waste at the same time, Russian experts have recently developed a new process for producing feed proteins from these wastes. According to local media reports, experts from Russia's Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology said that poultry manure contains mineral nutrients and that there are certain carbohydrates in the lees, and some microbes can feed on these nutrients. Through the screening of these microorganisms, the researchers found that a Bacteroides sp. and a Candida spp. can produce bacterial proteins after eating these foods, and these proteins can be used to make animal feed. Through further research, experts have determined that the treatment of poultry manure and beer vinasse with acidic liquids such as sulphuric acid can kill microorganisms in these wastes that are not conducive to the life of Pseudonocardia spp. and Candida spp. Each liter of bacterial liquid culture produced using the waste thus treated contains 40 grams of distiller's grains and 12.5 gram of poultry manure extract. Pseudonocardia and Candida bacteria produce 150 grams of bacterial protein per kilogram of this culture. Since then, researchers have developed a method of filtering out these bacterial proteins from bacterial cultures and confirmed by experiments that the protein is not toxic and can be used to produce animal feed.

properties of the products. Chain extenders are alcohols or amines with low molecular weight multifunctional groups containing hydroxyl or amino groups. Common alcohols chain extenders include 1,4 dibutanediol (BDO), 1,6 dihexanediol, glycerol, trimethylolpropane, diethylene glycol (DEG), triethylene glycol, neopentyl glycol (NPG), sorbitol, diethylaminoethanol (DEAE), etc. Amine chain extenders include MOCA and formaldehyde modified liquid MOCA, ethylenediamine (DA), N, N-dihydroxyl (diisopropyl) aniline (HPA), etc. There is hydroquinone two (-hydroxyethyl) ether (HQEE), used as a polyurethane adhesive chain extender, its products heat resistance, hardness and elasticity are higher than the general use of chain extender. [1]

Necessary reagents in the production of polyurethane, polyurethane is a prepolymer formed by the reaction of aliphatic and aromatic monomers containing diisonitrile with polyesters or polyethers containing binary or polyols. When applied, chain extenders are added to shape the resin. Common chain extensions are small alcohols containing binary or polyols, amino, iminoid, or ether alcohols.
