Mushroom waste as fertilizer

The mushroom waste after the mushroom contains more pathogens and is generally not to be applied to cotton or watermelon fields to prevent the disease from becoming worse, but it can be applied to grain crops such as wheat, corn and soybeans. When the mushrooms are used, lime water is generally used to adjust the pH of the bacteria. However, in the process of growth, the mushroom has less absorption of calcium ions in the lime water, so it should be applied as little as possible in the saline-alkali soil in order to avoid increase of alkalinity. Since the waste material after the mushroom contains more calcium ions, these calcium ions are easily combined with the active ingredients in the phosphate fertilizer to form calcium phosphate that is not easily absorbed by the crop, resulting in the fixation of phosphorus, which reduces the fertilizer efficiency. Therefore, the waste after mushrooming cannot be mixed with phosphate fertilizer. In order to kill the bacteria in the cultivation materials, some sterilization penalties are often used. Since these fungicides have a certain amount of residues in the cottonseed skin, they should not be used in combination with fungicide to avoid reducing the effect of the fungicide.
