Ministry of Agriculture: Intensifying work to stabilize the stable operation of vegetable prices

The Ministry of Agriculture will, in accordance with relevant requirements and plans of the Central Government, further intensify efforts to promote the smooth operation of the agricultural product market and maintain a reasonable level of agricultural product prices.

The Ministry of Agriculture will allocate 10 million yuan in additional fiscal funds to earmark information for the establishment of a vegetable production information monitoring network to timely acquire information on the area, production volume, listing schedule, and production price of 200 base counties and 20 major vegetable varieties, and fully dispatch 100 A wholesale market wholesale price, trading volume and other circulation information. Establish a monthly production and sales scheduling system, analyze the trend of research and judgment on a regular basis, strengthen the dissemination of information, actively guide farmers to rationally arrange production, and promote cross-regional orderly circulation.

According to reports, the Ministry of Agriculture will also arrange 50 million yuan of fiscal funds to focus on the construction of demonstration cooperatives for farmers' specialized cooperatives. At the same time, last year organized 2,000 professional cooperatives to implement the super agricultural docking, and this year it has expanded to 10,000 and speeded up the progress of agricultural super-butting. In the summer and autumn season, the Ministry of Agriculture will also organize and carry out production and marketing of fruit and vegetables in Lanzhou Plateau Summer Vegetable, Xinjiang melon vegetable and Sichuan potato. After the fall, it will also organize large-scale events covering the whole country's fresh agricultural products during the Autumn Auctions, introducing a number of specialty products and opening up more market space.

At present, the Ministry of Agriculture has asked local agricultural departments to go deep into the grassroots to help farmers analyze the situation of vegetable production and sales, increase confidence, stabilize production, guide farmers to do a good job in the management of field vegetable production, rationally arrange planting varieties at a later stage, and do a good job in linking up production and export. The Ministry of Agriculture, together with the Ministry of Finance, will use the 200 million yuan of fiscal funds that will be newly planned this year for the creation of a vegetable garden. At the same time, we will accelerate the introduction of the “National Plan for the Development of the Vegetable Industry” and start implementation as soon as possible.

The Ministry of Agriculture will formulate and publish the “Measurement and Evaluation Methods for the Mayor of the National Major City Food Basket System” in the near future, so that the mayor of the vegetable basket will be implemented in a responsible manner and be effective. At the same time, we will strengthen the research on food basket support and protection policies and enrich the means of government regulation and protection.
