Tea Garden Autumn and Winter Management Measures

Tea tree autumn and winter management is a key measure for quality management and pollution-free cultivation of tea gardens. It also has an important influence on the production and quality of spring tea in the next year and the production of tea throughout the year. Tea garden management in autumn and winter should focus on the following major technical measures.

First, apply base fertilizer

The peak period of the growth and development of tea plant roots was from September to November. The accumulation of nutrients in autumn and winter trees played an important role in spring shoot initiation of the following year. Therefore, it is very important to apply basal fertilizer after the end of autumn tea. In order to exert the effect of basal fertilizer, it is generally recommended that fertilization should be carried out from October to December. Basal fertilizers mainly include peanut bran, cowshed fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer and "ultra-large" biological compound organic fertilizer. For the production of tea plantations, generally Mushi peanut bran 200 kg, superphosphate 50 kg, "super large" compound organic fertilizer 100 ~ 200 kg, or Mushi quality bullfighting fertilizer 2500 kg, superphosphate 50 kg, "super large" compound organic Fat 100 to 200 kg. Fertilization method The method of trenching was used to dig 20 cm deep and 25 cm wide below the outer edge of the tea tree crown. The fertilizer was evenly spread in the ditch, and then the soil was covered. At the same time, shallow rows of 8 to 10 cm were planted between rows, except for net weeds.

Second, the Qingyuan pest control

In order to prevent overwintering of diseases and insect pests and reduce the occurrence of diseases and insect pests in the next spring, the tea plantation should be used to clean the gardens: (1) The litter of the tea garden should be cleared or buried outside the garden; (2) The whole garden should be sprayed 3 Times: The first spraying of Jinyun No. 1 tea-specific insecticide, the second spraying of 0.3-0.5 Baume degrees of lime sulfur, the third spraying of 0.5% to 0.7% of lime half Bordeaux mixture. When spraying, wet leaves and leaves should be sprayed. Each spraying interval is about 15 days.

Third, timely pruning

1. Light pruning: Normally harvested mature tea plantations are lightly pruned. This type of tea plantation is divided into two different situations: For tea gardens with good management science, neat tea surfaces, and highly suitable picking surfaces, pruning can be postponed until spring tea is harvested. , Pruning after spring tea can inhibit the yield of summer tea, increase the yield of autumn tea, and increase the quality of seasonal tea; for tea gardens with unscientific management, untidy tea fields, and high-rising tea gardens, light pruning should be used in autumn tea. After the end of the heavy frost or after the "big cold" to "establishing spring".

2. Deep pruning: For some tea gardens where the picking surface is too high and there are more shoots on the tree canopy, thin shoots, many leaves and low yield, use deep pruning to restore the tree vigor. The method is: cut off a 15 cm layer of foliage on the top of the crown or cut it at a height of 80 cm. The deep pruning tea plantation should be combined with heavy fertilizer to make peanut cake fertilizer and compound fertilizer applied. The deep pruning tea plantation should be carried out immediately after the end of the autumn tea so that the tea tree can grow quickly in the spring of the following year.

Fourth, do a good job of supplementary coverings and other work

In autumn and winter, it is necessary to do a good job of covering tea gardens, sorting gutters, and repairing damaged fields.
