When producing a fermentation bed, the padding requires a moisture content of 65%, and why do you need to pay attention to the fact that you do not need to add water to regulate it? Here, in the case of a fermentation bed, the thickness of sawdust in the litter layer is generally only 50 cm thick and the moisture content is 65%. This is a requirement of the fermentation bed. It also just needs to spread the strains and does not require water, and it is safer. In the end how come? Fermentation bed moisture source:
(1) sawdust itself: if it is fresh sawdust, such as sawdust after processing of Chinese fir, camphor wood, miscellaneous wood, etc., the water content varies greatly depending on the species of the tree, generally estimated by 60%, if it is old dry sawdust The driest is usually calculated as 30%; (2) The excretion of feces in pig excrement is also a large part of the daily excrement of pigs. The excrement water content of excrement is about 60%, which can be ignored, but urine is a large part of each. The head pig is calculated on the basis of 4 kg of excretion per day. A fermentation bed of 20 square meters and 15-20 pigs is 60 kg of water. This is a large part of the water source, so no water can be added.
(3) Other residues of drinking water, feed residues, sometimes caused by artificial feeding, or raining extravasation, of course, must be done to prevent rain and seepage. This is a very small part.
