According to the Hainan Provincial Department of Agriculture, the "Regulations on the Quality and Safety of Hainan's Agricultural Products" was implemented on June 1. It requires that agricultural input product operators, agricultural product production enterprises and farmers' specialized cooperative economic organizations, and agricultural product sellers must establish production, sales, or purchase records. . Hainan's cities and counties have established a comprehensive agricultural law enforcement team, agricultural product quality inspection and mobile service stations cover each township, and the reform of the pesticide management system is proceeding smoothly.

In the promotion of green prevention and control technology, this year Hainan Provincial Department of Agriculture invested more than 7 million yuan to purchase green prevention and control equipment, and added 200,000 mu of green prevention and control demonstration sites throughout the province, with a focus on the promotion of winter melon and vegetable bases. In the new technology, yellow-blue plates, lure lights, sex-tipped lights, and solar-powered insect-killing lamps can kill hundreds of harmful insects such as Lepidoptera, Homoptera, and Coleoptera. Practice has shown that 80% of the pests will be destroyed. Killing can reduce pesticide use by more than 30% annually.

In terms of environmental governance, this year, the Agriculture Department of Hainan Province initiated the recovery and disposal of agricultural waste, carried out the harmless treatment of pesticides, agricultural film and field waste, and established a recycling and processing center based on the enterprise. According to reports, pesticide wholesalers must recycle pesticide bottles and implement quantitative rewards and penalties.
