Small-tail Han sheep fast fattening six measures

First, cast off in time. Lambs used for fattening should generally be cast off within 1 week to 3 weeks. At this time, it is beneficial to improve the quality of meat to make the meat tender, reduce the odor, make the sheep temperate, easy to manage, and should be easy fattening. There are two commonly used castration methods: one is the castration forceps method, with a special castration forceps, in the upper part of the scrotal force close to the spermatic cord to cut off the spermatic cord, after the testicles gradually shrink. This method does not cut the wound, no blood loss and no risk of infection. The other is the ligation method. When the male lamb is 1 week old, the testes are squeezed into the scrotum. With rubber bands or twine tightly tangled in the upper part of the scrotum, ie, the spermatic cord, the blood circulation is blocked. After 20 days to 30 days, the vaginal genital and testicular atrophy naturally fall off. Second, early weaning. The traditional weaning time of the Little Tail Han sheep is from 3 months to 4 months. According to experiments, the lambs weaned at 60 days and 90 days of age were fattened to 6 months of age under the same conditions. The average weight and daily gain of the lambs were basically similar, and the difference was not significant. This shows that early weaning at 2 months is feasible. The 2-month-old weaning and fattening is conducive to the early mating of ewes so that the breeding sheep can be raised from 2 years to 3 years to 2 births per year, so as to increase the reproduction rate, slaughter rate and meat production of Small Tail Han sheep. Third, timing insecticide. Lambs for fattening were mowed once after weaning and in autumn. Commonly used anthelmintic drugs are: nitroprusside, thiodichlorophenol, albendazole, etc., with 4 mg per kilogram of body weight, 35 mg to 75 mg, 2.5 mg to 3 mg orally. Fourth, feeding fine feeding. Under the traditional extensive feeding methods, the fine feeding and fattening methods for house feeding are adopted, and the rough and fine feeds are properly matched so that the lambs can be slaughtered for about half a year, which can significantly increase the economic benefits. Specific use can be made of 35% of hay, 37% of corn stover powder, 5% of bean cake, 4% of cotton cake, and 14% of corn. For lambs weaned for 5 months to 6 months, the live weight can reach 40 kg or more. The average daily gain is more than 200 grams. This method produces good meat, with a short fattening period, fast turnover, suitable for intensive production, and factory fat lamb production. Fifth, feed additives. (1) Feeding sheep for fattening compound feed, additives (add according to instructions) This additive consists of trace elements iron, copper, manganese, zinc, selenium, rumen metabolism regulator, growth promoters and inhibitors of harmful microorganisms. It is suitable for fattening lambs and eliminating old sheep. Feeding this additive increased the rate of weight gain and feed conversion by 23.1% and 18.7%, respectively. (2) Feed ruminal (also known as monensin sodium). Its role is to control and increase the efficiency of rumen fermentation to increase the rate of weight gain and feed conversion. Tests have shown that when feeding rumen fed to small-tailed sheep, the daily weight gain is increased by about 35% compared to the control group, and the feed conversion rate is increased by 27%. Usage and dosage: Small-tailed sheep added rumen 25 mg to 30 mg per kilogram of diet. Practical application should be based on the composition of the diet to determine the appropriate amount, to be mixed in the feed, the initial amount can be lower, then gradually increase. (3) Add urea phosphate (Urea can also be used instead). Its role is to supplement nitrogen and phosphorus in ruminants and is a new type of non-protein nitrogen feed additive. Each day, about 10 grams of urea phosphate was added to each sheep, and the average daily gain increased by 26.7%. (4) Add bacteriocin peptide zinc antibacterial growth promoter. Its role in the livestock and is conducive to digestion and absorption of nutrients in the intestine to improve the utilization of feed and increase weight. The amount of lambs used was 10 mg to 20 mg per kilogram of mixed material and mixed evenly in the feed. Six, timely slaughter. Small Tail Han sheep have large growth intensity in the early stage and slow growth in the latter stage. If the lamb is raised to above 1 year old and then slaughtered, the cost of feeding is high and the fat deposition is high. Therefore, the lamb slaughter period should be the best from 5 months to 6 months.
