After the rice transplanter is positioned in the field, it's essential to assess the size and shape of the area to plan an efficient walking route. On the other three sides, two empty widths of space are left to allow the rice transplanter to make a U-turn or a roundabout maneuver. This method is typically used for ride-on transplanters that have a larger turning radius, making it easier for them to navigate and exit the field after completing the back-and-forth planting process. Option 3: For irregularly shaped plots, the longest side of the field is used as the starting point for the first line of operation. A job width is left around the plot sequentially, and the machine continues planting until it reaches the final exit point. This method is particularly useful when dealing with uneven or non-standard field shapes, ensuring that the transplanter can operate smoothly without getting stuck or causing damage to the crops. Each of these methods offers a practical solution depending on the field layout and the type of rice transplanter being used. Choosing the right strategy not only improves efficiency but also reduces the risk of damaging the plants during the transplanting process.
