Storage and transportation method of celery

1. Micro-frozen storage Similar to frozen storage of spinach, a semi-underground frozen storage pit is built on the north side of the wind barrier. The cellar is about 200 centimeters wide, surrounded by a wall of 100 cm in height and 50 to 70 cm in thickness. When constructing the south wall, a wooden pole with a diameter of about 15 centimeters is erected every 80 to 100 centimeters in the middle of the wall. When the wall is completed, the wooden pole is pulled out to form a row of vertical ventilators; At the bottom, a ventilation ditch with a width of 25 to 30 cm is traversed at the bottom of the pit, and the north wall is attached to the air inlet where the ground is dug, forming an L-shaped ventilation system. After spreading a layer of straw and a layer of fine soil on the ventilation ditch, the bundles (about 10 kg of each bundle) of celery root can be placed diagonally downwards in the pit and filled with a layer of fine soil. Leaves the leaves uncovered. As the temperature drops, the covered soil layer can be gradually increased and its thickness is about 15 cm. When the temperature is above -10°C, open the ventilation system; when it is below -10°C, block the air inlet outside the north wall, and maintain the temperature of the ditch at -1 to -2°C through the regulation, then the white leaves can appear between the leaves. The petiole and roots are not frozen. When it is required to go public, it can be taken out of the pit, placed on a 0 to 2°C environment and then slowly thawed. After the fresh state is restored, it can be refitted on the market; or the shade shelter on the south side can be pulled out 5 to 6 days before the pit is released. It is set in the north and covered with a film. After the soil has been frozen, remove it layer by layer and finally leave a thin layer of thin soil to protect the celery and slowly thaw it. The latter method has small loss and good effect.
2. Preserve storage This method is commonly used for storage in northern areas. First dig a wide, deep 70-150 cm each of the false planting ditch, and then the celery with a root shovel under the soil, single, double or clustered in the ditch. Ventilation gaps should be left between the lines and lines for ventilation and heat dissipation. Also, every 100 centimeters or so, a bunch of stalks of stalks may be placed across the celery, or digging air ducts at appropriate distances on both sides of the ditch. After immersing, the roots should be irrigated with water, and the water can be timely fed according to soil moisture. Between the cover and the dish, there should be a certain gap or a sparse shed cover on the top of the trench so that some sunlight can be scattered to perform weak photosynthesis. Throughout the storage period, the ditch temperature should be maintained at around 0 °C.
3. The cold storage is generally stored by spontaneous air-conditioning. The storage temperature is controlled at 0°C and the relative temperature is kept above 95%. The specific method can be seen in the cold storage of spinach. By using this method, the canary can be stored for more than one month; celery is more resistant to storage and can be stored for two months under the same conditions.
4. Transportation and Packaging The transportation of celery is mostly road or railway. We should use warm car, and transport it under suitable temperature and humidity conditions. Celery plants are long and crisp, easily broken and causing mechanical damage. Longer bamboo basket packaging is required to prevent extrusion.
