Diagnosis and Control of Trichodiasis in Tilapia
The trichodones inhabit parasites on the surface of tissues such as skin, fins, and gills of tilapia that are in contact with water, but the main parasite is fleas. The sick fish infected with trichoderma are black in color, have poor feeding habits, are physically weak, and swim slowly. Sometimes it can be seen that the body surface is white or bruised. Mucus secretes more on the sputum and there is a local whitening phenomenon. The whole pool can be sprayed in spite of severe disease. The pond can be used twice to three times. .
