Walnut grafted in winter

Practice has proved that walnut grafting in winter than in summer and autumn graft survival rate is high. Technical points: 1 to 2 cm in diameter walnut seedlings are used as rootstocks, and 1-year-old shoots with a diameter of 1 to 2 cm in the middle and lower branches of fine walnut trees are selected as the scions for single bud grafting, and then the grafted walnut seedlings are tiled. Stored in a storage box containing wet sawdust. Sawdust should be formalin-sterilized. Keep the temperature between 25°C and 28°C and the humidity between 56% and 70% during storage. Remove the plant the following spring.
