Overview of Ultraviolet Band Analysis of UV Photoaging Test Chamber

The increasing destruction of the natural environment by human beings has caused people to gradually fear the sun. It is an eternal subject to study this to prevent the sun's rays from harming the skin. Ultraviolet light is the invisible light line in the high energy region of sunlight. The ultraviolet light can be divided into three regions depending on the wavelength of the ultraviolet light itself. Short-wave ultraviolet, medium-wave ultraviolet and long-wave ultraviolet.

With the continuous advancement of technology, these three kinds of ultraviolet rays can be simulated in the ultraviolet aging test chamber . Below we introduce the damage caused by the three kinds of ultraviolet rays.

Short-wave UV: referred to as UVC. It is an ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 200NM-280NM. Short-wave ultraviolet rays are absorbed by the ozone layer as they pass through the stratosphere on the surface of the earth. Can not reach the surface of the earth, has an important role in the human body. Therefore, attention should be paid to short-wave ultraviolet rays.

Medium wave ultraviolet light: referred to as UVB. It is ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 280NM-320NM. UVB has a certain physiological effect on human skin. A large part of this type of ultraviolet light is absorbed by the epidermis of the skin and cannot penetrate into the skin. However, due to its high order energy, it can produce strong photo damage to the skin, and the dermal blood vessels of the irradiated area are dilated, and the skin may have redness, blisters and the like. Long-term exposure to the skin will cause erythema, inflammation, skin aging, and severe cases can cause skin cancer. UVB is also known as the sunburn (red) segment of ultraviolet light, which is the UV band that should be focused on prevention.
