Yesterday, the Ministry of Health released the "Sanlu Brand Infant Milk Powder Incident" Public Consultation Guide, offering parents essential information on diagnosing and treating children who may have consumed contaminated milk powder. According to the guide, most affected children are under one year old, and they may have been consuming Sanlu infant milk powder for several months. However, the exact time when the contamination occurred remains unclear, making it difficult to determine if urinary tract stones have an incubation period.
The guide urges parents to closely monitor their children for any unusual symptoms. It warns that some severe cases were delayed due to parents not recognizing early signs or failing to seek medical attention promptly. In some instances, children showed reduced urine output or even stopped urinating entirely, but parents did not act quickly enough, worsening the situation.
Additionally, the guide aims to ease public anxiety by clarifying that only those who consumed melamine-contaminated milk powder may face health risks. It notes that liquid milk contains significantly lower levels of melamine compared to powdered milk. This difference is due to the concentration process in milk powder production, where water is removed, leading to higher melamine content per kilogram.
The guide advises parents to encourage children to drink more water and urinate frequently. If infants or young children have been consuming problematic milk powder for three to six months, especially if they show unexplained symptoms like crying, vomiting, fever, cloudy urine, blood in the urine, decreased urination, or no urination at all, they should be examined immediately.
Parents are also advised to stop feeding Sanlu milk powder right away, monitor their child's condition, increase fluid intake, and ensure frequent urination. Experts emphasize that while some children may only display mild symptoms like irritability or crying, these should not be ignored. Delayed treatment can lead to serious consequences.
According to experts, a 7 kg baby, typically around 6 months old, consumes about 150 grams of milk powder daily. If the milk powder contains less than 15 mg of melamine per kilogram, it is considered safe. Overall, the risk of health issues for consumers, including infants, remains low.
Furthermore, experts explain that liquid milk has a much lower concentration of melamine because it retains a high water content—over 90%—while milk powder undergoes a drying process that concentrates the substance. As a result, the melamine level in liquid milk is far lower than in powdered milk.
Adults, who do not rely on milk powder as their primary food source, have a higher tolerance for melamine, meaning they are less likely to be affected. The guide aims to reassure the public and provide clear, actionable steps for concerned parents.
In related news, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has formed an investigation team to look into the melamine contamination issues at Mengniu and Yili, two major dairy companies. Some batches of milk powder and liquid milk from these companies have tested positive for melamine, triggering widespread concern in the region.
Authorities, including the AQSIQ Quality Inspection Bureau, have begun inspecting the facilities of both companies to monitor production and ensure safety. On the morning of the 18th, Zhao Shuanglian, vice chairman of the regional government, led an inspection team to visit both companies, checking key production stages.
According to recent data, industry and commerce authorities have deployed over 873,000 law enforcement personnel to inspect 2.497 million milk powder-related businesses. So far, 3,215.1 tons of contaminated milk powder have been recalled. These figures reflect the ongoing efforts to address the crisis and protect public health.
Vector V16 NLS
Vector V16 NLS is a diagnosis and therapy device. Another well-known method for diagnosing the state of energy in a person - is Kirlian‟s aura-diagnostics . It is used to determine the state of the electromagnetic field of a human in general. Status of individual organs is determined by the configuration of their biofield. NLS-diagnostic method allows the evaluation of the state of bio-energy of each organ individually. The results can be obtained in the form of visual images with the topography of the affected area, as well as the graphical features which allow us to analyze damage to body tissue, allowing more accurately to determine not only the type of injury (inflammation or destruction), but also to clarify the diagnosis.
