First, flush the surface of the diesel engine with water, remove dirt and debris, and then use a metal cleaner or detergent to remove surface oil.
2. Set up one end of the diesel engine so that the oil drain point of the oil pan is at the lowest position. Unscrew the oil drain plug and pull out the oil scale so that the water in the oil pan can flow out. When the oil is about to be drained, it should be omitted. After the oil and water are released together, turn on the oil drain plug.
Third, remove the air filter, remove the filter upper shell, remove the filter element and other components, in addition to the net filter water, use metal cleaning agent or diesel oil to clean the parts. If the filter is a plastic foam, wash it with detergent or soapy water (without gasoline), rinse it with clean water, dry it, and then dip it with appropriate amount of oil (squeeze it out by hand after dipping). When replacing the new filter, oil immersion must be performed in the same way. The filter element is paper-based and should be replaced with new ones. After the parts of the filter are cleaned and dried, install them according to the regulations.
Fourth, remove the inlet and exhaust pipes and muffler to eliminate internal water. Turn on the decompression and shake the diesel engine to see if there is water discharge from the inlet and outlet. If there is water discharge, crankshaft continues to be cranked until all the water in the cylinder is drained. Install the intake and exhaust pipes and muffler, add a little oil to the air intake, crank the crankshaft several times, and then install the air filter. If the diesel engine enters the water for a long time, the flywheel is difficult to turn, indicating that the cylinder liner and the piston ring are rusted. The rust should be removed, cleaned and then assembled. The rust must be promptly replaced.
5. Remove the fuel tank and put all the oil and water in it. Check if there is water in the diesel filter and tubing. If there is water, drain it. Clean the fuel tank and diesel filter, then replace it, connect the oil circuit, and add clean diesel to the tank.
6. Discharge sewage from water tanks and waterways, clean waterways, add clean river water or boiled well water until the water floater rises. Turn on the throttle switch and start the diesel engine. After starting the diesel engine, pay attention to observing the rise of the oil indicator and listen to the diesel engine for abnormal noise. After the normality of each part is checked, the diesel engine is run in. The running-in sequence is first idle, mid-speed, then high-speed, and the running time is 5 minutes each. Stop running out of oil after running-in. Re-add new oil, start the diesel engine, run at medium speed for 5 minutes, then you can use it normally.
