Agricultural machinery standards

Tractor maintenance standards are essential to ensure the equipment operates efficiently and safely. The first goal is to eliminate the "three leaks"—no oil, no water, and no air leakage. All seals, including oil and water seals, should be in good condition, and all joints must be properly tightened. Next, achieving the "four clean" standards: clean oil, clean water, clean air, and a clean machine. Finally, the "five good" conditions include proper adjustment of gaps, pressure, and travel; adequate lubrication with the correct oil level and sufficient grease; secure fastening with proper torque on all threaded connections; accurate instrument readings; and a well-maintained electrical system with no short circuits or open circuits. For agricultural implements such as plows, hoes, and seeders, maintenance standards require correct installation and adjustment, no deformation, firmly secured fasteners, reliable lubrication to avoid dry friction, and complete parts in good technical condition. Operating standards emphasize professionalism. Operators should focus fully on their tasks, maintain straight movement while working, and make timely adjustments. Accurate meter readings and coordinated hand and foot movements are important. When starting, moving downhill, passing through villages, or crossing bridges, operations should be done slowly. Additionally, four key prohibitions apply: no prolonged overload, no high-speed towing of implements, no unauthorized disassembly or adjustments, and no untrained personnel operating the machinery. Storage standards require that agricultural machines be stored in a dedicated warehouse or parking area. Long-term storage should be handled by trained personnel. The storage area must be free from weeds and standing water. Machines should be kept clean, both inside and out, without oil stains. They should be parked neatly, with working parts coated in waste oil and frames painted to prevent corrosion. Implements should be elevated off the ground, and all parts should remain intact and undamaged. Valuable components should be removed and stored separately for long-term preservation. Additionally, diesel fuel must go through three filtration stages: filtering when transferring from the tanker to the tank, from the tank to the fuel line, and from the fuel line to the engine. Fuel should be allowed to settle for 96 hours in the tank and 48 hours in the drums before use. The fuel system should be sealed and refueled properly to prevent contamination.
